❓ Quick Answers

Common Palworld questions β€” straight answers, no fluff.

How many bases can I have in Palworld 1.0?
4 bases per guild. Unlock at Base Levels 1 β†’ 10 β†’ 15 β†’ ~25. You can raise the cap to 10 bases in world settings. 4 bases, 15 working Pals each at max level.
What’s the best Pal for combat?
Jetragon is #1 β€” fastest flying mount, devastating Dragon attacks, and a missile launcher partner skill. For early-mid game, breed an Anubis. See full tier list β†’ Jetragon has the highest base ATK among all 299 Pals.
How does breeding work in Palworld?
Each Pal has a hidden breeding power. Breed two Pals, the game averages their values, and the offspring is the Pal closest to that average. You need a Breeding Farm (unlocked at Level 19) and Cake. Full breeding guide β†’ 44,500+ possible breeding combinations in 1.0.
Where should I build my first base?
Don’t build where you spawn. Head to Verdant Brook (-257, 201) β€” flat ground with ore, wood, stone, and Paldium all nearby. All base locations β†’ 4 base slots total β€” your first base should prioritize resource production.
How do I get Paldium Fragments fast?
Three ways: mine blue Paldium nodes (found everywhere), crush stone in a Crusher (unlocks at Level 8), or run dungeons for bulk drops. Dungeon runs yield 20–50 Paldium each β€” fastest method for bulk farming.
How can I level up fast?
Catch 5 of every Pal species for the max catch bonus. Farm Alpha Pals daily, run dungeons, and repeat tower bosses. 1.0 raises the level cap to 80. Full leveling guide β†’ 5 catches per species = max XP bonus. Level 80 cap in 1.0.
What are the best starter Pals?
Eikthyrdeer (fast mount, double jump, saddle at Lv.12), Foxparks (flamethrower partner skill melts early bosses), and Daedream (floats and attacks alongside you β€” stacks with multiple). All catchable in the starting area. Eikthyrdeer saddle unlocks at Level 12, available from minute one.
How many Pals are in Palworld 1.0?
299 Pals total across 9 elements and 5 rarity tiers β€” including Legendaries, subspecies, variants, and 124 new Pals added in the 1.0 update. Browse all Pals β†’ 299 Pals, 9 elements, 5 rarity tiers, 12 work suitability types.
Can you breed Legendary Pals?
Yes, but only with same-species pairs β€” two Jetragons make a Jetragon egg. Cross-breeding a Legendary with another species won’t produce a Legendary. One exception: Frostallion Noct = Frostallion + Helzephyr. Bred Legendaries have ~3× less HP than wild-caught Alphas (110 vs 330 for Jetragon).
What are the best base Pals for each job?
Anubis (Handiwork 4 + Mining 3), Jormuntide Ignis (Kindling 4), Astegon (Mining 4), Lyleen (Planting 4), Frostallion Noct (Gathering 4). Match work suitability level to each base task for maximum efficiency. See per-role rankings β†’ 12 work suitability types. Level 4 is the highest tier.
