What Is Terraprisma?
Terraprisma is a melee weapon from the Palworld × Terraria crossover. It's a mystical sword with a rainbow-colored blade, and its gimmick is unique: each swing summons a blessed sword, up to a maximum of nine, that automatically attack nearby enemies for you.
Those summoned swords are the reason Terraprisma is special. They persist even when you switch weapons or ride a Pal, meaning you can keep a full ring of blades active while doing something else. Aiming the weapon makes the swords vanish so you can resummon them. Players consistently report it as one of the highest-DPS options in the update thanks to the rapid automatic hits.

How to Get Terraprisma
Terraprisma is not a world drop — you craft it from a Terraprisma Schematic. The recipe does not appear in the normal Technology Tree; the schematic must be in your inventory for the craft to show up. Here's the full path:
Terraprisma Crafting Materials
Crafting costs scale with the schematic's rarity. All five tiers use the same three materials, in increasing amounts:

Hallowed Bars drop from enemies and chests inside the Sealed Realm of Terraria dungeon. Pal Metal Ingots are smelted from Pal Metal Ore, Pure Quartz, and Paldium Fragments. Ancient Civilization Parts come from Alpha Pals, dungeon bosses, and high-level ruins.

The core question is "which rarity should I pursue?" The answer depends on how much you'll use the summon playstyle:

Is Terraprisma Worth Using?
Pros: The nine auto-attacking swords give very high passive DPS with no ammo cost, and they keep fighting while you switch weapons or ride a Pal. It's a genuinely unique playstyle — effectively a "summoner" option in a game that didn't have one before.
Cons: Getting the schematic is an RNG grind (repeatable dungeon runs), and maximizing its damage requires the Hallowed Hood (see below). Its raw per-hit Attack looks low next to conventional melee weapons, so it rewards players who lean into the summon mechanic rather than comparing single-hit numbers.

Best Terraprisma Setup
To get the most out of Terraprisma, pair it with the Hallowed armor set, specifically the Hallowed Hood — its "Hallowed Power: Summon" effect directly increases Terraprisma's damage. The rest of the Hallowed set provides the "Hallowed Guard" effect plus cold/heat resistance, and pieces like the Hallowed Mask boost the other crossover swords (Meowmere, Excalibur, Terra Blade).
