Palworld Breeding Combos — Complete Chart (53 Special Combinations)
Every guaranteed breeding combination in Palworld 1.0, searchable and sortable. Use the filter below to find the combo you need, or check our Breeding Calculator to compute any non-special pairing.
📌 Key Takeaways
- 53 special combos guarantee a specific Pal — these bypass the breeding power formula and always produce the listed result.
- 23,000+ total combinations — special combos cover variants. For everything else, use our Breeding Calculator.
- You need Cake and a Breeding Farm — place one male and one female Pal in the farm with Cake in the chest to start breeding.
- Special combos are for variants — most special combos produce a sub-species variant (Noct, Ignis, Cryst, Lux, Aqua, Terra, Botan).
🧬 How Palworld Breeding Works
Breeding in Palworld follows a simple but powerful system:
- Build a Breeding Farm — unlocked at level 19 in the Technology tree.
- Place one male and one female Pal — assign them to the Breeding Farm. They must be opposite genders.
- Provide Cake — place Cake in the Breeding Farm's chest. One Cake = one egg.
- Wait for the egg — a progress bar fills up. When complete, collect the egg.
- Hatch the egg — place it in an Egg Incubator and wait for it to hatch.
Two Types of Breeding Outcomes
1. Special Combos (this page): 53 parent pairs that always produce a specific child. These are hardcoded and override the formula.
2. Breeding Power Formula: For all other pairings, the child is determined by averaging the parents' Breeding Power (BP) values. The Pal whose BP is closest to the average is the result.

📐 Breeding Power Formula Explained
Every Pal has a hidden Breeding Power (BP) stat. When you breed two Pals that don't have a special combo:
- The game calculates:
Average BP = (Parent A BP + Parent B BP) / 2 - It finds the Pal whose BP is closest to this average (rounding down)
- That Pal becomes the child
Example
Breeding Lamball (BP 1470) with Cattiva (BP 1460):
(1470 + 1460) / 2 = 1465 → Closest BP Pal = Chikipi (BP 1500?) → Check calculator for exact result
BP Range Examples
| BP Range | Example Pals | Rarity |
