How to Choose the Right Mining Pal
Early Game (Lv 1–30): Catch Tombat (Mining Lv 2, night spawns near starting area) or Penking for your first ore base. These are easy to find and functional for basic ore farming.
Mid Game (Lv 30–50): Breed Anubis via Penking + Bushi. Anubis has Mining Lv 3 + Handiwork Lv 4 — the best all-around base Pal before endgame. Digtoise is a catchable alternative at desert areas.
End Game (Lv 50+): Breed or catch Astegon (BP 150) for dedicated mining. Or Blazamut (BP 10) if you also need Kindling. Both reach Mining Lv 4 — maximum ore output.
